TT970 4G Flip Mobile Phone

The TT970 combines the familiar design of a flip phone with features normally associated with a smartphone. It has a 2.8-inch colour touchscreen, large tactile buttons, 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, while retaining a physical keypad and flip-phone design.

The TT970 runs a simplified version of Android 8.1 and comes with pre-installed apps including WhatsApp, Facebook and Email.

It uses a Nano SIM card and is a single-SIM phone.

Flip Design and Display

The TT970 has a traditional flip design with a 2.8-inch colour TFT touchscreen and a resolution of 240 × 320 pixels.

The keypad is backlit and has talking buttons, providing human-voice feedback for the number pad. The phone also supports speed dial.

The flip design allows the phone to be opened for use and closed when finished.

Big Buttons and Touchscreen

The TT970 combines large tactile physical buttons with a touchscreen.

The physical keypad provides straightforward dialling and texting, while the touchscreen provides access to the phone’s Android functions and compatible applications.

Predictive text is also supported.

SOS Emergency Alert

The TT970 has a dedicated Emergency Alert button.

The button can be programmed with up to 5 emergency contact numbers. When activated, the phone can call the saved numbers in sequence and send emergency text messages to the programmed contacts.

The SOS function also sends the phone’s latest active location.

WhatsApp and Smart Features

The TT970 runs a simplified version of Android 8.1 with limited applications and a simplified menu.

It includes an Aurora Store and a web browser. TTfone lists WhatsApp, Facebook and Email among the pre-installed applications.

This allows the TT970 to provide access to selected smartphone-style functions while retaining the physical keypad and flip-phone format.

Camera

The TT970 has two cameras:

• 8MP rear camera
• VGA front camera

The front camera can be used with compatible applications and services that support video calling.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

The TT970 supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2.

Bluetooth can be used to connect the phone with compatible devices such as headphones, speakers and other Bluetooth accessories.

A headphone port is also provided.

The TT970 has:

A MicroSD card is optional and is sold separately.

Battery and Charging

The TT970 uses a TT-B25 1750mAh Lithium-Ion battery.

TTfone states that the battery provides up to 3 days of standby time and approximately 180 minutes of talk time.

The phone charges via USB Type-C and comes with a dock charging station.
