TT190 Senior Mobile Phone

The TT190 is a straightforward 2G mobile phone with large, separated buttons, talking keys and simple menu navigation. It has a classic candy-bar design and physical keypad for calling and texting.

The TT190 is unlocked and works with major UK networks on Pay As You Go or contract plans, except Three, SMARTY and iD Mobile. It takes a Standard SIM card.

Large Buttons and Keypad

The TT190 has large, separated keys designed for straightforward dialling and texting.

The keypad is backlit and the talking buttons provide human-voice feedback for the number pad.

The phone has dedicated red and green call buttons and supports speed dial for numbers 2–9.

Display

The TT190 has a 1.77-inch colour TFT display with a resolution of 240 × 320 pixels.

It does not have a touchscreen and is operated using its physical keypad.

Predictive text is not supported.

SOS Emergency Alert

The TT190 has a dedicated push-type SOS Emergency Alert button on the back of the phone.

Up to 5 emergency contact numbers can be programmed.

When the SOS function is activated, the phone dials the saved numbers in sequence and sends emergency text messages to the programmed contacts. During the call, the phone also triggers a loud alarm sound.

The SOS function requires a SIM card, at least one programmed SOS number, mobile signal and credit.

The TT190 has Bluetooth 2.1 for connection to compatible devices.

TTfone states a standby time of up to 2 days and approximately 5–6 hours of talk time.

Stock Variation

The variation of this particular TT190 model is not based on the fascia or casing colour. Instead, the variations are based on the charging option supplied with the phone:

• Mains (wall) plug charger
• Charging dock / charging station

If you are purchasing the phone for an elderly or disabled relative, it may be worth checking with them beforehand which charging option they would find easiest and most convenient to use.
